servers arent showing up?

ports blocked or not u will still see the game. just ppl wont be able to go in.

try the speedtest on www.speedtest.net and see if your ping is extremely high. that can be one problem
follow the guidelines that i put up and see if everything is set right also.
try disconnecting your power from your router and modem for like 5 minutes and then plug it back and try the server again.
if all fails the try reinstalling the server too and see if that helps.
nothing should stop it from broadcasting unless your internet doesnt work. and if u come online ur net definitely works

dude i was controlling his computer today..and when i start haloded on his computer all the maps and pass rcon etc comes up but it doesn't show this: "Dedicated Server is running on map "map name here" (0/10 players). Use sv_end_game command to stop game". See that stuff is suppose to show but it doesn't hat verifies that your server is rdy and up...i tried everything, i even started from fresh..but nothing accomplished. But there is one more thing he cant try which. Try to go to check if his firewall is blocking it. U know some the simplest things might be the problem..go see it wont hurt trying.

check if the gametypes are loaded lol
make sure that they are in the "my games" or where u set them to be.
that should be the problem. and make sure the game types maps and syntax are typed in properly in the init file.
the server never was working after all. it just loaded.
firewall is no issue. server will be on just no one will be able to send packets to server computer.

i just made a conclusion about halo dedi servers. dedis use 34 kilobits per second for each player.
took me a long time to get this result
that means
-136 kbps = 4 players max
-272 kbps = 8 players max
-340 kbps = 10 players max
-544 kbps = 16 players max
these are according to my servers. however all servers should be about the same.
